About

I'm a writer, learning designer and game developer transforming history textbooks into learning games. Currently I'm developing The Eigentlich Institute, a historical detective game about taking sides in Elizabethan court intrigue, uncovering Tudor secrets, and working out which historical figures aren't entirely what they seem.

My work

I'm interested in games and experiences that invite the player into small but deep worlds, and that encourage them to be curious, playful and imaginative. As well as my current work on historical games, I've worked on several small text-based digital and tabletop games.
